Am I The Only One?

Have I completely lost it or am I the only person on Earth that really has a problem with this illegitimate government that has hijacked the US? Did you believe in the bullshit they tought you in school about the grand ole US of A? About freedom and justice for all??**

I sometimes question my sanity when I think about what the US government has done and are still doing in the name of democracy. It is a sham. The Bush administration should be tried and convicted for international war crimes. I am dumbfounded that they are still in control of all branches of government. Where is the outrage? When are we going to protest in the streets and surround the White House like those admirable students in France demonstrating for their rights?

I don't know what else it is going to take? How many lives have to be cut short for the hording of natural resources? Ok, enough of my soapbox. I probably should just create a new blog for political commentary. Thanks for listening....

**unless your of a minority race, gender or sexual orientation

Well you know maybe we could get rid of him if we could just arrange for him to have a blowjob at work.

Unfortunately it's probably just going to take a lot more violence (but don't despair, money will be made...feel better?).

I think no one cares about the US anymore. Just another insignificant detail detail on the planet - as they should be considering pain and nonsensical chain of events they created.
You're in Europe now, focus on what's better!

Hey!! Yea!! I agree that you should start a new blog just for political stuff. No hate intended, but I just totaly disagree with your political agenda, but I really enjoy your personal stuff! Can we still be friends? If you want to bitch about ferrets being outlawed in California or the medical marijuana issue, I am in for the long run, but this other political stuff should be saved for another audiance. Peace and peace and some more peace over the world.

Ummmmm, Hello Expat!! Did you say "When are we going to protest in the streets and surround the White House like those admirable students in France demonstrating for their rights?" This is a joke right? Um!!! Hello!! Are you calling for a protest despite the fact that you are living here, in Germany? Why did you run? Yea, that is a stupid question, I understand your reasons for being here and they are not very different than mine, but now that I am here I am trying to live the German life. Why are you here? Are you happy here? Hummmmm just wondering..... Let it go James. Let it go!. If you want to protest James, go back home and protest while living under the conditions that you are protesting about. It is totally stupid to protest about living conditions in a place where you no longer live. Hey, I am all for freedom of expression and the
american way, but in order to express your freedom and live the American way, in my opinion you must first serve your country in some way. (Dont be a freeloader and just bitch about e verything) Have you served your country James? In any way? What have you done to support the red white and blue? Moving away does not count. Honestly James?????? Give it up? What have you done for your country. Please enlighten me so I can respect you again.

Number 1: I do not need your respect.
Number 2: Don't ask, don't tell. Why should I go to war to kill innocent people for OIL? I don't think so. What those people (US and UK soldiers) are doing in Iraq are in NO way admirable. Period.
Number 3: Until the the US grants Gays and Lesbians EQUAL rights I do not buy into the BULLSHIT we have been brain-washed to believe.

Number 2: I respect that.
Number 3: I am sorry for mouthing off. It was the vodka talking. It wont happen again.
Number 4: I respect your opinion and thank you for sharing it with us.
Number 5: Peace

Kein Problem. I understood where you were coming from, however, I have a tendency to be a little sensitive to the USA DENYING my rights as an equal citizen because I'm gay.

A-Z, 0-9: PEACE!

Finally, Blogger lets me comment. I wonder the same thing. I can't believe the things that go on in the U.S., can't believe what the electorate is willing to accept, and I begin to wonder if I've slipped into some kind of alternate reality. I simply don't understand how getting a blowjob is an impeachable offense, but torturing people is not.

I don't have a lot of political commentary in my blog, because I find this remove so impenetrable. But I like the political comments in your blog, just as I like the pictures of Düsseldorf and the fresh perspective of a new expat. All these parts exist in you, so they can (and I think they should) co-exist in one blog.

Preach on. I'm continually amazed and dumbfounded that well over half the citizens of america (well, the ones who bother voting anyway) put this man... this administration... in office not only once, but twice.

It really makes me wonder what the disconnect is between the way I (you.. and many, many others) feel and all those loyal bush supporters. Because we all believe 120% that our side is right & just... and that's simply not possible.
