Wake up America!!

Hey there soon to be expat in germany! Found you through J

As someone who has previously lived the US I've often thought about the "freedoms" that are so often discussed.

One of my best friends ran off to Holland to get married, but at the end of the day he had to move back to the U.S. where the marriage wasn't recognised. He and his partner are considering expat-ing too. It's just so sad that he has to leave a country he loves just to be with the man he loves. It's sad he can't have it all you know?

Anyway! You'll find that once you've been hooked into the expat circle here in Germany it's hard to get loose lol

Good luck with your move and perhaps we'll see you at the whiney expat blogger meet next year!
